Was he not another signing brought in to stop city from getting him? He's a square peg in a round hole, probably needs to adapt or he just suits a different style of football altogether to what we are trying to implement. He was never the midfielder we needed anyway.

As for Jones, although I much prefer Bailey starting obviously, it means Lindelöf moves over to the left hand side and we seem to lose his ability to bring the ball out from the back?

No, I mean Jones came on at central midfield instead of Fred recently.. only for a few minutes, but still.
