That Boy Ronaldo!

Default Why not Giggs?

If the club don't want to appoint somebody until the end of the season, then Giggs is the right man for the job short term.

Here's his press conference from the first game (0-0 at HT, won 3-0)

"I want the players to play with passion, speed, tempo, be brave, imagination"

Why not give him 5 months?

Because he has little experience or the personality to cope with it. Also, despite saying this in his first ever presser has manager:

"I want the players to play with passion, speed, tempo, be brave, imagination"

He failed to manage any of it in three meaningless fixtures.

There's zero evidence he can manage man united, other than he used to play for us.

He can £#%&! off.

Why not McClaren? Apparently winning the Dutch league means £#%&! all anyway. Knows the club inside out tbh tbh tbh

Give it him till the end of season and see how he does, think we'd be more likely to make the CL with him than LVG tbf.

I think it would be more effective to play giggs than let him manage.

No wum but he'd be an improvement on what we have now.

If we want a safe bet, go with Queiroz or McClaren. Anyone know what Watty Smith is up to these days?

He has no managerial experience.

He is too close to many of the players making it difficult for him to pick the team on form alone.

He has been the assistant during the last 2 and a half years of utter dirge so must bear at least some responsibility for it.

In the behind the scenes documentary of his 3 games in charge he came across as a clueless £#%&!wit.

As a club we require a headstrong, focussed, determined manager with a wealth of big team experience to lead us through the shitstorm we've found ourselves in (I realise LVG is one of these so I mean someone else).

Given the vitriole you've dished out about LVG in the last 18 months I can only assume you are on a massive wum with this thread, or as many have called you on this site, you really are a clueless @#%&!spangle.

6 months of rope on which to hang his united management aspirations.

At least he'd probably switch back to 442 (making a formation revival in the prem this year) and make watching United entertaining again...

Come next season he'll have either had a successful 6 months where we've qualified for the CL or he'll have had his chance and we can crack on with the next appointment.

winwin

Toxic now. Reeks of Lumsden and Van gaal.

Gary Neville would be a better bet.

i'd give it to him now so he can hang himself with the rope before the summer.

if it works out the other way then dreams come through and we've got a winner.

Danger being he gets the job late in the season and rides a wave of enthusiasm, and starts next season as manager. Ending 2017 closer to 10th than 1st "and we go again".
