"Overall this achievement once again shows what stability can bring to a football club and without doubt he has created a permanent legacy during his 1,000 matches with the club," Ferguson said.

Nine years eh?

Oh jesus :shakehead:

And let's not forget it 9 years since they scabbed an FA cup. It's ten since they actually won anything of note. Ten £#%&!ing years. I'm not even sure Ferguson would have survived zero league titles since 2004.
And the neat football is over-rated. 4 consecutive 0-0s a few years ago and we were still being told they play the best football in the land.

Put Wengers record up against the top european managers and it's shit. It's actually about par with, or slightly better than, Benitez.

The £#%&!ing prof. My fat arse.

3 titles in how many years? and then largely thanks to George Graham's defence.

a good Kanchelskis run followed by an Eric strike on the counter up against Arsenal's elaborate and over complicated posturing..

Holy £#%&!. That's a big hint isn't it

'It shows what stability can bring to a football club'. Yes, diddly £#%&!ing squat, that's what.

Can't wait to see Moyes lift the Stability Trophy in six years.
