Hopefully he’s got some intensive English classes lined up.

I’m hopeful we’ll be weeding the bad ones, keeping the good ones and adding ones made of the right stuff.

It’ll take a while and it’ll be bumpy.

Which is directly linked to the bottleneck above the manager in buying and selling players. If you have unwanted players lingering around the club, the dynamic is set for problems in the dressing room that lead to the manager getting sacked. Slightest blip or media pressure and the house of cards comes tumbling.

Imagine united back in the 80s not selling whiteside and mcgrath when fergie wanted them out. Manager’s authority undermined, unwanted players lingering etc. He’d never have turned the dressing room that he inherited around. He’d have been done before 1990.

Nah, this season was a disaster and they still ridiculously finished 6th. And this season was largely down to a collapse in the dressing room. Ten hag should be able to sort that pretty quickly, if those above him don’t screw him over, and we’d automatically be 10-20 points better than this season even with the struggles of implementing his style of play.

Waiting to hear what Paul Merson thinks of that interview before I commit backing him or not.

That Sky interviewer earlier in the thread ffs. Compare that buck toothed #@&%!s behaviour, to the fawning over "Pep" that goes on. If ETH would've told gappy to £#%&! off, it would get significantly more hits that City winning the league.
