We do, but only by buying a decent midfield in the summer, not by taking him off in a game we were losing and bringing on Amrabat. There's no excuse for those subs.

Don’t play mainoo against Everton this week or don’t play him against Luton etc if you want to rest him. Don’t bring off the only composed player we have in a difficult Derby match that we were still in but under huge pressure.

I wouldn’t mind Ten Hag if he wasn’t such a £#%&!ing idiot.

Finally had a really good game.

He looked settled...too bad it took him so long.

Can't see United renewing his loan deal. Gone by the summer I imagine.

Great at doing nothing. If he’s here next season we’ve had a bad summer.

If that's a good game for him Jesus.....

Put himself about and moved the ball ok, most of his tackles were due to his sluggish control of dangerous passes.....

It hasn't worked out, needs moving on...

Thanks for everything etc

He's undoubtedly a presence but makes a fair few mistakes and a bit slow on the turn. Likes a lunge.

Wouldn't be a bad idea to have a more defensive enforcer around Mainoo who gets better and better.

He was decent last night but isn’t good enough in the long term.

Slow and quite error prone.

Should start the cup final though.

getting away with a pen after losing the ball where you should never lose the ball
responsible for their equaliser after losing the ball where you should never lose the ball
i suppose if you blank from your mind every mistake a player makes during a game then yes, the conclusion will always be positive
however, bat's mistakes are severe enough that they should never be ignored
hoping he doesnt repeat it in the cup final
he's definitely got it in him to misplace a 5 yard pass and slip haaland in

He passed the ball straight out of play twice

We need someone like him, but better. Its been the same story for years.

Someone to protect the back 4, make themselves available for the ball and keep it moving. It's been refreshing having someone do it for the last couple of games. He's clearly not at the elite level and never will be, but just having the right type of player there made a difference.

We were still as leaky as an old garden sieve less possession and 21 shots perhaps the big difference was their shit finishing and Bruno being on top of his game.

Maybe that was the real difference giving Bruno a free role

Proper shit. Runs like he's in a strobe, all the intensity of a blancmange.

You can be slow & lack tenacity if you're a technically adept playmaker, but he's always making up for a mistake of his own doing & needs bouncing out along with a raft of other #@&%!s in our midfield.
