Why would anyone want a guy who failed in the most comfortable managerial position there ever was. He had zero pressure, only love, got 3 years, got shitloads of money - still made zero progress.

Stand by what I said, not even in the championship would they be interested in him. Maybe league 1 if hes lucky.

he has been the worst manager we have had in the modern era and it will take seasons to undo the damage he did at the club.

a real smiling assassin. Killed us while smiling and being nice.

'We'.

'Us'.

Absolutely laughable.

Solskjaers first 10 games in charge at the lowest point in the clubs recent history: 9 wins, 1 draw, 0 defeats, 25 goals scored

Ralfs first 10 games in charge with a much easier set of fixtures: 6 wins, 3 draws, 1 defeat, 14 goals scored.

Stats don't lie, Ralf is lagging behind Solskjaer big time after his first 10 games. Still a lot of work to do

Lower than getting thumped by Liverpool, City and Watford?

The most comfortable managerial position and zero pressure?

You must be new to United because the managers job at United is never comfortable and never has zero pressure. Its probably the most difficult managerial job in the world with the most pressure.

Ole had zero pressure? Any time there was defeat the masses were on his back to get him sacked as he wasn't good enough, any time we went on a good run he never got praise for that either.

Whether you rate Ole or not to suggest he had it all comfortable, easy with zero pressure is total %@#$&!s.

Ole was in the unusual position of being backed by all sides.

He was perfect for the Glazers.

The fans loved him.

The players had a mate in charge.

He didn’t have it easy but he had it easier than any other United appointment since Fergie.

Lowest point?

We’ve not won anything in 5 years, hammered by Liverpool, City, Leicester, Watford and on a run of losing 5 out of 7 games. We were also lower in the league table

So how exactly were we any more lower than that in 2018?.

Most managerial careers end up in failure, to judge Ole on how it ended is not fair.
Two top 4 finishes, steering the club out of the chaos of Mou’s final months through covid and to a europa final is enough surely.
He wasn’t a top manager but a club legend who answered the call in a time of need, employed from the start as a caretaker, the signings he asked for (Bellingham and Haaland) the club failed to deliver.
Continually undercut by Woodward is it any surprise in the end he lost the players
He should have been moved upstairs last summer as the club brought in the manager to take us forward but as usual the Glazers aren’t interested in the club just it’s dividends and still has no coherent plan for the team.

We’ve never been at a lower ebb since Fergie than Mou’s last few months.

Last ten vs first ten is probably a more meaningful comparison.

But it's pointless. Ole was well out of his depth whatever stats you throw about. Nothing is going to change that now.
