Best bit of football we've played there.

As some as we sped it up slightly we looked a threat. It's not a coincidence

Give us a chance, there's plenty of them to get through.

Genuinely gobsmacked that wasn’t a card for Burn….

I think they are probably the fittest team in the league.

Joelinton is a better midfielder than anyone in red

Then you look at the yellow Burn did get for the foul on Ronaldo and it should never have been a booking.

No consistency, its baffling at times.

He's brazilian. I thought his name was Joe Linton and he was english from non-league.

Who knew the Ronaldo situation would come bite us in the arse

Playing with 9 men. Yet again big calls need to be made.

Rashford is ill, lack of options is killing us.

Thank £#%&! for that. 0-0. We should be a goal down minimum.

I'm struggling to see what it is that hag is implementing into the team. As previously said Newcastle look fitter, better coached, and hungrier.

Why’s he on the bench then

Meh. They've not really created much since Joelinton's post bothering antics.

Thought we slowly improved as the half wore on although we need more from the left hand side of the pitch. Sancho and Shaw have offered nothing.

Good battle and a tough half. Newcastle are a good team and giving as good as they get. We knew they would. We’ve had some good moments and we’ll have more second half. Fred being there is a reminder of how much work there is still to do on the squad. Complete waste of a shirt and a momentum killer. Willing, but does absolutely nothing well.

Get the ball into Antony and Sancho quicker and we’re going places.

Give him time ffs most of this squad is still recovering from Jose’s training techniques

the commentator is such a ABU #@&%!. ronaldo dalot and fred have been piss poor, especially ronaldo and fred.

honestly at this point if all fred provides is energy just throw one of the youth off.

No doubt we will concede off a corner/ set piece seeing as our genius set piece coach has our shortest players marking their tallest.

all they have to do is have a slight run on the zonal mark and 9/10 times they will win the header.

antony near the end there should have played bruno but went for ronaldo.

ronaldo needs to get it together, he is quickly becoming a problem for this team with his link up play.

all the good chances on the edge of the box fall to fred, have a better quality player in that second CM position and we win this easy,

I think we followed the usual pattern. Look fantastic at the start, drop off then as the other side gets more possession we had a few decent counters.
