IIRC all the names mentioned only played due to a quite ridiculous injury list that had 12+ first team players unavailable and he had to work with those available in the ranks.

I remember when McNair cleared the ball with a desperate backwards header in his first or second game; that was enough for some people to have him nailed on as our starting cb for the next decade.

Ole's eclipsing two legends of the game with his approach here, it's all about timing I guess. Both those legendary coaches were absolute busted flushes when they came here - I hope to £#%&! we can find a midfielder to tie this upgraded side together.
