Inter Milan could reportedly offer Ivan Perisic to Man Utd in an effort to complete a deal for Chris Smalling, who would be a potential replacement for Milan Skriniar.

Smalling has returned to Manchester United following a productive loan spell with Roma. However, talks over a permanent move to the Italian capital have stalled.

The English defender is keen to return to Rome, but the two clubs are yet to agree his price tag. And that has forced the Serie A side to look for alternatives.

From free kicks and corners? Ah, ok. I thought you actually meant ‘going forward’, as in ball at feet.

Roma are adamant that they want to sign Manchester United defender Chris Smalling but don't want to pay over the odds, according to Calciomercato. The Red Devils are said to be demanding €20m for the Englishman, while Roma have offered €13m.

Would much rather have Mike than Lindelof. a bit like having to choose between gout or kidney stones but there it is.

Football’s about entertainment, and here we are still being entertained by something he did.

Why don’t they offer us Milan skriniar?

Roma have made it clear they want to buy him...meet in the middle and just sell him for €16m and use those funds to bring in a player that can actually make a contribution to this squad

What's the odds that Woodward is still haggling over a few quid?

I always picture him haggling, thinking he's smart like Austin Powers in the Casino.

"10"

"I'll stay"

"I suggest you hit, sir"

"I like to live dangerously"

Sounds like he could be off to Spurs.

Bit weird, considering Spurs are £500m+ in the hole after the stadium work, they're going balls deep for Jose's requests.

Also looking to get Milik in as well.

Imagine mugging off Pochettino for years in the transfer market and then employing Mou, who’s just gonna try and buy a load of players anyway. What was the point?

Roma are going to pay 15m for Smalling but are also asking for TFM as part of the deal on loan

Roma seem like a nightmare to deal with. So do we, to be fair.
