Assuming you had to be at the game as only so much goonage you can do in your living room.

I was at:

Owen v City
Rio V Liverpool
Macheda v Villa
Scholes V City

Only one winner - Scholes V City which seemingly put us back in the title race from memory(?) - but didn't end well.

Special mention for RvP v City which was scenes in Courtyard

Nice thread

Adore the seething bitterness of Paul Walsh (I think) on the O'Shea commentary.

Kanchelskis making it 5-0 should have been on, especially after them clinging on to 5-1 as their only stick to beat us with being brilliantly taken away from them.

I was in a box in the Platt Lane end that day. Was murder everywhere. Great days.

Brucie for me though. Still gives me the goosebumps. Cried like a baby all the way home. You just knew when that went in.

Sure I've said this before but wth.

Watched Scholes v city at my in-laws, thought the house was empty.
Didn't know they'd come back and were with other oldies in the kitchen. They never made a sound.

They all came running in thinking someone was being murdered, to find me just getting up off the floor, Brian Kidd style.

Forgot Macheda went absolutely mental. Liverpool were up our arse that season and the relief when that went in was to much. Gone for that.
