Lingard out, more minutes for Greenwood and an appearance from Gomes would do me.

I think it will be :

Same back 5 (how nice it is to have that)

Pogba
The Scottish Player
Mata
Martial
Rashford
Lingard

He'll put Lingard out towards the right, because he loves him, and play Mata through the middle.

I'd prefer to see Pereira given a decent stab at the no 10 role. Anyone but Lingard. And game time for gomez and greenwood would be nice, half an hour or so.

Regardless I think we need either pereira or mata on because they're the only ones who can take a goddamn set piece.

5-0

These threads are going to be pointless soon given we have no players

There is 1, maybe 2 positions up for debate the rest picks itself every single time. We will be £#%&!ed come Christmas.

Greenwood and Gomes in, JL and Hames out.

Suspect the only change we'll see is Mata in for Lingard

Should be the match to start Greenwood from the right and have Gomes on the bench for the last 20 mins

Matic could do with some game time and given we should have most of the ball would be a good time to get him in. Axel needs some as well but tricky to disrupt Maguire/Lindelof.

Would like to see Dalot instead of Shaw.

Axel ffs, give over.

We’re 2 games into a Premier League season with a new centre-back pairing that finally looks like being up to requirements. They need as many games together as possible right now, to develop and cement their understanding. Giving Axel minutes is absolutely not a consideration, however good he may turn out to be eventually.

Slab and Linders should be playing every single prem game if fit and should be no where near the europa league games, in particular the away ones.

Agree with Bryn here.

Actually it's one time I'd probably agree with Jem, try him as one of the midfield 2 and push pogba further forward if we're going to try to give him minutes.

Otherwise, Europa and cups only.

This. Lingards stats are brutal. I'd even consider Mata for this as he has a bit of craft at least.

2-0 up 80th minute bring him on as a defensive mid or even right back. If he is now 3rd choice central defender he needs to be ready in case of injury.

This is a bit of a worry tbh, we don't have enough quality in the squad despite its size.
