Thinking like that is why we’re shit. Teams whose forwards don’t convert chances do badly; always.

I think standards have fallen far or youre wumming?!

I'll bite, he was shit in the first half and had an average second off. The assist was intended to find pogba. Either he is injured/off form or just shit. I have feeling its a combo of the all three, with everybody ( including me) overrating him

Sad reflection on the state of rashers atm that even these contrarian wummy posts don’t generate much business nowadays.

He should be 3rd option up front and still being fazed in, not carrying the whole load. Imagine if we'd bought in say Aubamayang and Mane instead, infact don't it's too depressing.
If that happened people would be moaning that Rashford was being held back etc. Mourinho used him in the right way by playing him off the left, but people wanted him as the main striker, now they don’t think he’s the main striker but is best played out on the left

Giving him that contract looks more crazy by every passing game at the moment.

Getting extremely tired of talking about everything except his performances and goals. Age, geography and what we’d love to happen in the future don’t win football matches; goals do. We’re probably the only big club in Europe who continue to pick their centre forward based on what he might become. It also makes a mockery of all the excuses that he was being held back by not playing number 9.

1 goal from open in 16 games isn't a bad patch.

Looks like he got carried away with the fame. Bit of a big time Charles. The toughest guy in the village.

No thanks

There are red flags all over the place with this squad; however our willingness to acknowledge them or not seems to depend wholly on what our previous positions were.

Surely there’s got to come a time -even if you love a certain player- that you see enough poor performances to at least question your faith.

It’s hard to care that much right now. Given up on this season already. Imagine knowing after seven games that the title is out of reach?

Yeah but he's from Wythenshawe innit can never have enough local players in the team right

Looks like sparky and Marlo were right all along.

I doubt Ipswich could afford £250k a week though.

When Pereira ran through in the first half you had James and Lingard just standing at the edge of the box staring at him - literally no clue what runs to make; and where was our centre forward? Pereira had no options but to keep running and take the shot.

What run would Sterling or Son have been making? At the very least they’d have been pulling defenders away. This is why we don’t create.
