I don't think the europa would be a disaster tbh. Plenty of opportunities to get to know the players and experiment with sides. Changed my opinion on that. Prefer champs league but it's not that important.

Much as we all hate it, some interesting midweek fixtures against obscure, hopefully weaker, opponents would be good if we’re implementing new systems and bringing young players in, plenty of experience to be had.

It’s the stigma and the Thursday/Sunday aspects that are so repugnant.

The other problem being they will use the extra games as an excuse to keep a massive squad and not offload the shite cluttering it.

I get this aswell, disgusting comp and don't normally want anything to do with it ....

But if we're bedding in a new boss, new ideas, new players, it's a competition and with that should come competition of places and a desire to win ...

A trophy for the new guy in his first season....

It's also good for away fans and kids to get a taste of old Trafford ..

we are told need to stop having visions of grandeur.

European aways > no European aways.

There’s some potentially decent games that are also winnable in the late knockouts as well.

Great - just heard we are getting a power cut in the next hour.

I missed Wrestlemania last week and now I’m going to miss some of this

Honestly think we will do them.

Be nice to see hannibal get some minutes. Excited to see the kid make the step up.

Wouldn't even bother with Pogba on the bench at this point.

So naturally i fully expect United to start like a bunch of sedated zombies and gift everton a 2-1 win.
Cue Everton flying out of the blocks, Demarai Gray ruining Telles and Calvert-Lewin remembering how to play football.

UTFR. Also fully expecting that the worse Everton side in decades will turn into 1988 AC Milan for this.
