Yeah because comparing Sunday’s match with Juventus is sensible.

It was much like matches against them going back decades.

I'm sticking with 8th unless reinforcements in midfield and attack arrive in Jan.

And good reinforcements, not just any old shite.

Let's see in our upcoming matches can finally not look toothless trying to break down teams that defend deep and don't give us much space

That's our problem
Under Ole we've been OK for the most part against the better sides

It wasn't meant to be sensible.

It was a response to Duckers who I assumed (hoped?) was being sarcastic.

I posted earlier that a draw under the circumstances was decent. Would have taken it before KO. But it wasn't much more than that. I'm definitely not seeing it as some kind of turning point.

Hope so. Definitely some positive signs in the game. Still can't get beyond accepting this season as a write off though as we rebuild.

No there’s not. All teams have a range of possible performance levels and results, and it’s clear we’ve been at the bottom range of ours. These things tend to correct to mean over a long season. We weren’t as good as the record when Solskjaer first came in and we weren’t as bad as the results at the end of the season creeping into this one.

Chelsea and Liverpool are over achieving compared to performance, Spurs and us the opposite. Both will revert to norm if you keep doing the right things.
