consistent half time subs are quite worrying tbh.

The penalty is a penalty, but it’s not a clear and obvious error that VAR should be playing on a loop 48 thousand times. If that’s the standard, then ok, but we all know we’ll see the same or worse not given or even looked at in the future.

Crucial we got in at 1-0.

This was never going to be pretty and we just need to keep hanging in there at 1-0 and take any chances we get.
If the penalty is one then you should expect a penalty or two given in every game on a set piece through shirt pulls and impeding.

Clearly they’re never given, but if you’re going to give them them let’s have some consistency. The bigger annoying thing is that it’s only ever us those are given against.

Where is the consistency and equal play if no other team has that given against them .

Probably because Amrabat is likely to ‘do a Casemiro’.

Defence is a mess as predicted but more concerning is everybody's legs going to jelly when we get a half chance. Wolves beat this lot - think we can at least try and get something with some early subs.

Mount for Amrambat hardly screams “let’s go for it” does it

But the fact that VAR went back to review it on its own accord means it should now do it on every set piece in every game and award penalties for something like that. But they don't and they won't. So why the £#%&! have they done it there? That's where it takes the utter piss for me. That borders on looking for reasons to award a penalty.
It's this gimp on VAR

Ergo if it’s not given to anyone else then it’s not a penalty

We’re bang average unfortunately. Thought we’d kick on after last season but we’ve gone significantly backwards.

We’ve been massively unlucky with injuries but that alone doesn’t explain how shit we’ve been.

We don’t score goals. Always a slight issue when you want to win football matches and be entertaining.

So easy

Yeah. He hates us.

I don’t like how the VAR official is telling what to give as the ref is watching the footage. Let him make his own decision.
