If Nani didn't wear our shirt again, I wouldn't lose a minutes sleep.

Can't really argue with that.
For a player with such quick feet he's very poor at beating his fullback.

I still admire his desire to be positive...he never goes hiding. But, I just don't think he's good enough.

The whole team was poor today and it may seem a touch unfair to signal Nani out. But we see it almost every week with him. When you need one of your 'flair' players to stand up & be counted, Nani fails again.

Same old same old

Nani will never make it at United, he is clueless.

What was wrong with Nani yesterday? Is he injured?

Don't know. Played 2 games in a week for Portugal plus a fair amount of travel. The players that played yesterday were the ones that had played the least, needed games or there was no option.

Probably just resting him before the trip to Moscow, where he will start imo.

Ok.

I can see an almost new starting XI in Moscow because Fergie will have Anfield on his mind. We could really hammer another nail in their coffin next Sunday. We HAVE to go for the win.

Yeah, £#%&! Moscow. Send the kids and those returning from injury. It's only the CL group stages and we have bigger fish to fry. We will win the remaining 3 games and have won the 1st 2. No point dicking about in Moscow.

PIG
De Laet
Fabio
Brown
Evans (or vidic, depending on who is to play at Anfield)
Nani
Obertan (if he comes through the game today)
Gibson
(whoever out of Scholes, Carrick, Fletcher and Anderson won't be starting at Anfield)
Owen
Welbeck

With...

Rafael
Macheda
James
Eikrem
King
Chester
Foster

on the bench.

I'd be happy as £#%&! with that. Especially as the dippers need to win against a very handy Lyon side.

Nani spent most of the second half warming up but didn't come on obviously.

We'll play a strong team in Moscow looking for a result, you only play a weak team after you qualify.

we'll put a decent side out in moscow. wouldn't be surprised to see rooney and owen start, berbatov's played a lot this week. nani, fletcher, o'shea, probably brown and scholes should all get a game. still be a good strong side, easily good enough to beat cska, who are nothing like as good as they were.

Don't think he'll risk Rooney, by the way he was talking about having hs doubts abut Rooney being fit. I'd say Owen is a definite starter. O'Shea, Scholes, Flecth and Vidic if fit also I'd say.

Foster

Brown
Vidic
Evans
O'Shea

Nani
Fletch
Scholes
Valencia

Berba
Owen
