Quite a credible journalist as well. I suppose Maguire is far more 'gettable' than the like of Koulibaly & De Ligt. Plus it's a safer option as he knows the league and literally bleeds red.
Jones with a bigger head...

He’s obviously 3rd choice after De Ligt and Koulibaly. Bargain bin fc

We've already seen the best of Maguire.

He would still be a massive improvement on what we have though, indeed I liken him to the signing of Mal Donaghy in many ways.

He’d be an improvement, anyone who thinks he isn’t is on crack.

I’d take Alderweireld while he’s available too.

Yep i've come round to this idea too. He's a lot better than i previously gave him credit for. Agreed re Alderweireld. If we could get those two in and punt Jones and Smalling it would be a great result.

Obviously De Ligt being the number one choice. If we got him, it would be like signing two new centre halves in any event imo. I still think Maguire will join City though but who knows.

Dicks.
I actually think they know this. I don't have much faith in United's current structure but I expect them to spend bid this summer. It's make or break time for them.

War chest well and truly cracked open.

Should have signed him last summer tbf...

Alderweireld too...

Sold Rojo, Jones and probably Bailly while promoting Tuanzabe this summer meaning we could spend this years budget on other positions that need sorting...

Well the story was Woodward ruined Mou by refusing to buy Maguire causing Mou to see his arse... a year later, for more money, he apparently wants to buy him.

Either way, meh.

Didn’t matter what transpired last summer, Mou was in his standard self destruction phase of employment; Woodward is shite at transfers; Maguire isn’t good enough.
