You would've thought that if Inter wanted rid, they wouldn't be publicly portraying him as a giant pain in the arse with a problem agent.

Then again: Italians.

Then again: Ed.

ON.

I'm really confused - is John Stones part of the swap to Inter?

Persuade him to come to Manchester United?

Christ we've sunk lower than I'd imagined.

Thumbs down

No £#%&!ing way Inter are that dumb paying 90 million for this useless lump, Dublin had twice the touch and better in air.

Jan Koller more athletic, get rid.

Could be one of those moneyball type signings where they know they need a certain amount of goals. With Icardi out of the picture, the odd woeful touch won't bother them too much.

Also, isn't it the case that a single goal often wins the game in Italy?

Gazzetta say Inter are now close to making an official offer, which would see Manchester United get €60m ‘safe’. That means a guarantee of those funds, before any bonuses.

An upfront payment of €20m would be made, plus a further €20m next summer, and the same again in 2021. There would be bonuses which could see that rise to €65-70m.

However, Gazzetta suggest this won’t be enough, and that Inter know as much, so this would simply be an opening official offer.

60m with bonuses rising to 90 would be decent bait and a better way for them to sell it to us, even if some of the bonuses are a bit ambitious.
