rvp did okay for me; held the ball up well first half, good movement for the chance he should have scored in the second. he certianly didn't play as badly as some people are suggesting.

Nani had a good game, with both trying to beat their man. Liked their movement and I hope they get more playing time. Januzaj was excellent although made a couple of mistakes but that will be sorted out in time with experience. But good to see that sort of confidence in a young player.

At least Nani is always trying to try something different which always gives you an attacking threat.

Valencia came on yesterday and with his very first touch, rushed ten yards down the line then @#%&!ted straight at a defenders legs. It's literally the only thing he knows how to do

...then tries to force his way through the defender. His version of arm wrestling, I think

he needs the ball to be played to him early. We are currently just very slow and laboured in possession.

he had a quiet game, barely contributed and missed a sitter, it's hardly controversial.

Those are some proper "La Gazzetta dello Sport" player ratings

None of this 10 out of 10 fan boy nonsense. Have to score a hat-trick against Madrid or Barca to get that

4 is probably too low, but don't think rvp was worth more than a 5 or 6 at most yesterday. his fault or not, he didn't really do anything and fluffed the one good chance he did get. he needs better support than the likes of rooney behind him.
