why does it always have to be marks out of 10

you've got the entire range of numbers to choose from and yet everyone always chooses £#%&!ing 10

I'll give De Gea 78.4% out of 12,156/4

thought all the rest were about the same as well

What more do you wAnt from left back with very little game time.

He made a few mistakes but he's decent cover, plays with a smile and always puts a shift in.

Decent player...
I'll surely pay more attention to his game now. Love players who care about our team and play with a smile.

S.I unit of 'player rating ' though....

Was reading 'cracked' album reviews at the weekend they were out of 20

Enjoyed it.,

Unlike this...

aman didn't stipulate what units you had to use. it's hard to believe but I'm starting to think you may be some sort of contrarian

Overall pretty solid. A better performance than we had any right to expect with Giggs and Jones as our central pairing tbh.

de gea made two saves and the only player who was really disappointing (one turn aside) was kagawa.

rafael, giggs and rooney have 7. everyone else a solid 6. kagawa 5.

love rafael bringing the ball forward.

de Gea -7 -Did nothing wrong and a couple of good saves
Rafael - 7- some great runs out of defense
Smalling -7- better at CB than RB
Evans - 6- One or two errors but not had much football
Buttner -7 -Looked solid and was good on the break
Nani - 6- nice to have him back needs games
Jones - 8- Immense shielded the defence brilliantly MoTM for me
Giggs - 7 -Did well on the whole, added some imagination
Kagawa - 6- Flashes of promise but largely peripheral. Not a winger needs to be central
Rooney -8- Worked like a beast. Ran Jones close for MOTM
Chicharito -7 - Gets better all the time great movement and some good passing as well as a good goal
Exciting open game, enjoyed it

Starting XI:
de Gea - 9
Rafael - 9
Smalling - 7 (thought he was extremely sloppy early on)
Evans - 7
Buttner - 6
Nani - 8
Jones - 7
Giggs - 7 (should really be a 5 but as Tyler said, he gets special treatment for being a legend)
Kagawa - 7 (disappointing but not necessarily entirely his fault)
Rooney - 9 (superb. I want to hate him but he's been our best player so far this season)
Chicharito -7 (cracking goal but otherwise fairly quiet?)

Substitutes -
Carrick - 6
Janujaz - 8
Welbeck - 6

de Gea -6 -Not much work apart from a good save although moyes header was straight at him.
Rafael - 8 - finally a proper RB
Smalling -6- better at CB than RB, but very poor with the ball.
Evans - 6 - easily bullied
Buttner -6 - competent
Nani - 6- frustrating, but better than young
Jones - 7 - did well but poor in challenges.
Giggs - 5 - why is he still playing?
Kagawa - 6 - too weak on the ball.
Rooney - 7- Good.
Chicharito -8 - Great whenever he had the ball

Look at the movement on this

Little £#%&!er must be an absolute nightmare to mark, for this alone he gets a 10
