Default Moyes' positives

I hate being negative, and I was never like that under Sir Alex, so I've made peace with the fact that Moyes is here for another five and a half years (minimum), therefore, I'm looking at the positives.

1 - Recognised our weakness and brought in a midfielder

Although Fellaini hasn't worked so far, I think he'll be successful at the club.

2 - Januzaj

Mourinho/Ancelotti wouldn't have played him as regularly, no chance. Glad Moyes could, and now he's a first team player for us. Our best youth prospect in years, and he'll carry us in the future.

3 - Qualification from the CL group stages

We qualified without losing a single game and beating the second team in the Bundesliga 9-2 home and away. Very impressive.

4 - Letting Anderson go

And now he's proved he was an ungrateful #@&%!. I'm happy he's not here anymore.

5 - Mata

Glad we could buy him. Watching us play quick one touch passing football is my dream (11-12 first quarter of the season), and if players like Kagawa, Cleverley, Mata, Januzaj, RVP and Rooney can learn quickly from Moyes it can be achieved.

Can't think of any more, but I'm sure the Scot genius has done better than that so far.

His ineptitude in the transfer market seems to mean we go for really obvious well known players...so hopefully we continue getting the big names in, or at least the well know a vs always getting unknowns.

Sometimes a crisis can change even the most stubborn of men. If he'd won playing shitty Everton style football he'd have no reason to shake things up. Now it's his only hope.

Speaks well, works hard, and is very determined.

He's also an underdog having won no trophies. It will be great to see him win one at United; as good as any of the trophies Fergie won.
