Yup back on form, great to have 2 quality left backs at the club, hope we keep both.

Love the bloke, glad he's showing his quality once again. Can only be good for United to have two excellent left backs.

Gabby Heinze to Mark Viduka :-

I like big fat men like you, when you fall down, you never get up.

He's all tugs, digs and nudges. Gets right up the opposition's noses, and gets away with it all by smiling at the ref. It's classic Argentinian defending, and it's very funny watching the likes of Viduka gradually coming to the boil as a result. As Bedders has suggested: Gabby Heinze is Tuco

his distribution is piss poor and seems to get dragged out of position more than most. We cant even wind up West Ham anymore by singing Argentina

I'm glad to see it isn't just me. Gabby reminds me of Silvestre, good athlete but not the best at football.

His crossing particularly lets him down.

There was 3 or 4 occasions in the first half alone when he was in good positions but didn't beat the first man.

Good tackling though.

Been watching him closely ever since he made his debut, that's how you get an honest appraisal of his strengths AND limitations. You dig? nft

I think some of this is over-critical, he aint the greatest going forward but he's an excellent defender which is after all his primary job.

To some extent but he isn't as good defensively, though he is getting better. Personally I think it's great having both giving both back-up and the option for "horses for courses" selections.

definitely but I think Gabby wont want to warm the subs bench too often, I would be surprised if he is still here at the start of next season.

I'm sure with Roberto Carlos' retirement Real will be sniffing and it seems Juve will too. Hope we can keep him, or at worst shaft 'em for a big fee.
