we come up with dumb £#%&! performances a lot less often in europe these days, I know there is the rooney factor, but why should we assume we will be as bad again? first away defeat (exluding the final) in 16 (?), we aren't a bad team all of a sudden.

we should be fine. losing 2-1 away in the first leg is not a bad result at all.

bayern are much less solid when both robben and ribery play. if they are both fit and van gaal plays them both (wouldn't be surprised to see one start on the bench tbh) then i think valencia and nani would give their full backs all kinds of problems.

the key game is on saturday anyway. £#%&! the cl, the league is what counts.

yes, i think we will go through. sir ryan and ooh ahh berbana will take us there. if we go 1 up i just hope we don't hold back. in a strange way it would suit us to go 1 down and then go for their %@#$&!s.

Though on this occasion, I agree with him :-(

Don't see us going through to be honest, just don't think luck is with us in the CL this season. Bayern showed enough attacking intent to make me think they'll score, probably in the last 5 minutes when we're 1 nil up.

Still, at the risk of sounding like me mother, you can't win them all and proud of exceptional form we've showed in the Champions League over the last few years.
