Well if that doesn't make whatever point this stupid thread is trying to make then I don't know what will.
He was the only Dutch player who looked any good against England .

No doubt about it, he is really suited to the 5th and 7th strongest league in Europe.

He's just not a top level player and I don't think he ever will be.

West Ham,Watford or Everton type

What an atmosphere. Pulling off something like that in such a cauldron is surely worthy of respect.

Probably also shows how poor football is across the board these days?

A once Dutch player of the year and a player tearing it up in the French league couldn't do the business in England

Gone are the days where a Ruud or Drogba type would come over here and be a success?

Still a super talent and still young. Ruined by LvG.

He'll be at a top club within 2 years imo.

Tbf in any era he's just not as good as Ruud.

Memph has the talent to do well anywhere. Mentality needs to be stronger than it appeared here though.

Dragged Lyon into 2nd place above Monaco too. Blimey

How much would he cost us?

Buy back clause?

There is a clause. £35m. No brainer imo, he’ll go for twice that.

Just notched another assist btw.

I don’t think he had much choice though tbf, lad needed the move. Smart work getting a clause in too

Makes sense as we're a bit short on players that play on the left and like to cut in onto their right foot.
