Needs a break from playing, as do many of the squad.

Was utter shit today. If he’s not fit then don’t play him. Was worse than lukaku ffs.

We won’t get anywhere until we get more prolific in front of goal. Rashers isn’t there yet - that doesn’t mean he won’t ever be but he isn’t yet. Needs a more experienced quality striker alongside him to take the pressure off. Obvs not the fat lump of shit lukaku.

It should be martial but £#%&! knows what’s going on there.

Sad to say it, but the optimism is starting to be more about hope than evidence.

I’ve seen enough to suggest to me that he will be a very decent player for us. But he isn’t yet and we can’t be in a situation where we are carrying every player in ever position. We had chances to win it today and our front two fluffed their lines yet again. They put them away and it takes pressure off elsewhere.

I’ve no hope for lukaku who’s one of the worst players I’ve ever seen at united - but rashers needs nurturing - not having his role elevated in a poor team which is what van gaal suggested should happen. He’s not up to it yet.

He’s not ready to start week in and week out as our main striker.

Said the same last summer but one or two got all angry and said they’d rather a mediocre season with Rashford as the main striker...

Will be a top talent imo, but needs to be used the right way.

The alternative at that point was a mediocre season with Lukaku.

Rashford will be fine. But the failures of Rom and Sánchez mean the experienced quality is lacking.

If he wasnt from manchester he would be £#%&!ed off. Potential maybe but no where near good enough to lead the line at old trafford.

Very poor again today.

He's probably carrying a knock, but either way he should be rested now until August.

It’s too early to make that call, but next season he needs to do better. Honeymoon is over, Rover.

He's 21 ffs. How many centre forwards at that age are the finished article? A club like United shouldn't be relying on a 21yr old to lead the line. Especially after spending half a billion quid.

He’s crap at the moment but we don’t know if he’s carrying an injury or not

You don’t judge a young player when they’re in their worst form and especially when the team as whole is terrible as well

He's no better now than when he made his first team debut FOUR years ago.

170 first team appearances later can anyone tell me what part of his game is better now than in 2015?

Needs to go back to basics.

He’s much better at making runs in behind than he is at coming short and looking to get on the ball all the time.

That’s a major problem we have at the moment that very few of our players will make runs into space in an attempt to open things up for teammates.

It’s one of the things City and Liverpool do so well.

He's got worse. His footballing ability is pretty much the same as it was (if anything he's more selfish), but now he has this ego to go with it, and it's totally unjustified.

Thanks

His movements off the ball
His strength
His control
His hold up play

The spaces between Liverpool's players is very small, same with City. They link-up well, they create space for one another on the ball. Have a look at the Ajax team at the moment and see how they link up between positions, there's always options for the man on the ball.

Contrast that with us. Watching us, our players are miles apart, sometimes isolated against 2-3 opposing players. We're forced into long, inaccurate passes, usually in areas where the opposition are comfortable defending.

When we "press" if you can even call it that, we'll have one player jogging towards the ball, who is then easily bypassed.

We also must be the most passive team without the ball in the top half of the table, easily. We retreat to the edge of our own 18 yard box, keep our shape and we allow the opposition to do pretty much whatever they like, they have time to pass, time to carry the ball, time to get shots off. There's zero pressure on the ball.

We are the total antithesis of what the best teams play right now.

his control and hold up play are piss poor.

I'll give you strength though. That's about it.

His finishing is worse if anything and his linking up with his team mates is abysmal.
