Watched it on the radio

Had to wait till The News At Ten was on to see the goal.

The game had absolutely everything. Hate the expression but, it really was a rollercoaster ride.

Also, I £#%&!ing hate Phil Neville's "reason" for that pathetic way he gave away that penalty

Two very evenly matched sides in game that had everything and we came out on top

Incredible season which had some cracking games- Barca home and away in the cl, Liverpool in the cup and league, Arsenal cup, Juve in the CL

This was the best of the lot for me though..... (wasn't this a replay? )

Edit- just seen it was a replay.... can't even remember the 1st game? Wasn't it 1-1 and beckham scored?

Giggs done his hamstring because of the fans on the pitch

1st game was 0-0 iirc. Keane had a goal wrongly disallowed for offside

Giggs ruled offside for passing the ball to himself.

I hope Ellery still has to have that panic alarm in his house, the @#%&!.

Great day/game. Half a day at work and then straight into Birmingham. Couple of #cans on the way down. A few more beers near the ground #lad. Watched Arsenal get chased and smashed on that little park near the Holte end. Into the ground, stood right on the devide #banter. Heard the team news, thought we'd get smashed. Watched the greatest game of all time. Pitch invasion at full time. Walked back to the car and watched a gobby cockney get his jacket set on fire by one of Manchester's finest. Straight home and into bed for midnight. Oh to be 19 again

Didn't we hit the woodwork about 3 times too? Had "one of those nights" feel about it.

It was. We were in the red, swapped for the replay. Nelson Vivas got sent off for them. Nope, me neither.

Horrific game in terms of nerves.

Think my resting heart rate was probably around 150 bpm.

Proper football. Two phenomenal sides knocking shit out of each other for 120 mins under the floodlights at a proper ground.

Either of those two teams would leather the Premier League this season.
