To put it into context....Newcastle United spent £55m in the summer. Brighton who will finish above them, spent £4m.

The teams directly behind Newcastle.....Reading spent £8m. Huddersfield spent £2m.

The Championship is an atrocious league. Huddersfield in the playoff spots ffs meanwhile Newcastle have spent £55m and made hard work of coming second.

Looking forward to seeing them relegated again next season.
