Bruno class despite the set back from the pen.

James looked better but him and Fred dropped moving forward.

Expect Martial in for James on Tuesday, Greenwood for Mata from a pure pace point of View.
Some lovely quick passing between Mata and Fernandes. Doubt Mata will start Tuesday though.

Enjoyed the last 20 mins of that tbh. Once Pogba and VDB came on we were different gravy

I even think Dan James played quite well too for the majority of it, he picked up some great positions but ultimately wasted his shooting opportunities, but he works far better shapewise than more give him credit for.

Mata was different gravy though, at his age to pull out a performance like that? Bravo sir, bravo!

Really enjoyed Bruno's goal to make it 2-1, what a team move!!! I'm so happy we won, couldn't handle another miserable week

remember that arguably zlatan, robben and pirlo didn't reach their absolute prime until their 30s. still time for the special juan.

Naw. He came on as a replacement for James on the left wing, but he was in a deep position when he started the move for the second goal. Dunno if he can play there or not, but there were 2 or 3 occasions tonight where he just played the perfect pass, usually a simple one, just instantly. He clearly has a bit of vision about him.

If it's true that's where he likes to play, I'd give him a go. It's bound to happen at some point. He looks good, but he'll not shift Bruno from the No. 10 position. We'll have to try and get him in the team some way.

I really hope Ole dispenses with this notion of ‘this is my 11, and that’s that’ now. Give players a chance, rotate and play the ones in form. Forget names, prices and slapped arses you’re trying to stay onside with.

I love Fred’s energy but his execution was terrible.

We definitely need legs in that midfield
Matic and Pogba are far too slow to play together against anyone decent
