Tbf Wright was always underwhelming for England but I think he had a point in 1992. You don’t get the Golden Boot for nothing.

Also still rankles that Steve Bruce never got a single England cap while donkeys like Curle went to major tournaments. He didn’t take Pallister either

File alongside Pearce, Adams and Gascoigne as players who would have ruled the world if Fergie had got them.

Did you ever see the reaction of Keane to the idea of Pearce and Irwin as United full backs? Very amusing.

thought this was interesting (in a way)
but with sir jim coming into save us, is it time to start thinking about who will survive the next rebuild?
