Question tablet - which? junior market

sorting a tablet for my 6 year old.

I don't know what's out there.

is this a lazy, overpriced choice or is it the best out there?

https://www.amazon.co.uk/all-new-fir...3811931&sr=8-5

spec - easy safe search and able to flash play stuff school send without installs etc. perhaps there are destruct proof laptops that would be better?

bored myself with this post. dont worry , midweek poll is close.

If it's mainly for school work (at 6) steer clear of apple....

You need android

My kids (same sort of age) have the Fire and love it. Has put off buying a console which I don't want to do (but know its inevitable in the end). The games on the kids profile might be too tame when they get a little older but you can download better games via an adult's profile (with the adult's permission)

. Wouldn't last 24 hours...
Any android links...

School work (purple mash sums etc) and Netflix cartoons is all she's interested in right now

Kicked off with us the other night pleading to be able to do homework before bed...

I have always been dead set against the Fire due to the pushing of adverts etc and its less than stock Android, but it seems most of those issues have not been a thing in about five years so...

My grandson has a Fire and when my daughter was looking into it it sounded like a really good choice for the little ones, mainly because of the fact that all the security and child friendly stuff is taken care of for you. I also believe there is no chance of them accidentally racking up the debt of a small south American country buying outfits for their horses or whatever the f*** it is they get up to on them.
