I don't know about anyone else, but I've been entirely turned off this season to the point I can barely summon the will to watch us, with defeats piling up and I barely even care.

We have PSG in the champions league. With Jose, would anybody look forward to that? As we start with 8 at the back and The Scottish Player up front?

We're painful and joyless.

Entirely un-interesting. Everyone looks pissed off and doesn't look forward to games

Under Jose, we would achieve nothing and want to kill ourselves. Under Ole, we'll still achieve nothing but I'd rather watch him try.

I'm looking forward to Saturday. I'm excited at the prospect of someone like Solskjaer, who loves this club, leading us out at Old Trafford against PSG.

It's interesting. It's bold and someone there who actually £#%&!ing cares. I want to see what he does. What style he adopts.

The season is dead and it doesn't really matter how it turns out.

I will take that all day long. Meanwhile, fingers crossed that the club is taking their time to finally do things properly 're a new boss.

A big question mark has been whether it's the players fault or the manager's fault.

This will go a long way to helping us find a lot of these players out.

They're auditioning for their future
.
Top post.

Lumping on United to win the FA Cup, the Baby Faced Assassin leading them out, Mickey P in his shorts popping a balloon...

Its a Hallmark film script. Written in the stars.

Yeeeeees, Ole!

THAT is what I want a United to say. Whether he can do it is another matter.... but we should always be striving to do that.

Mourinho never tried or wanted to do that. I never wanted to see his vision realised.

Come on, is anyone not already 68% more excited than they were 2 days ago?

They could have put a packet of ready salted crisps in charge of the team and I'd be 68% more excited than I was 2 days ago.

giving ole the job under the notion that 'we've tried Mourinho, maybe this will be the the unexpected success we need. maybe we should sign any failed un experienced manager because it 'might work out'

Not sure who else we could have appointed short term. It's clear the club needs restructuring and that can happen whilst an interim manager is in place.

We could have got someone like Hiddink but would it really have been any better?

I don't understand why people aren't seeing this. Top reds saying it's like giving a shelf stacker a CEO job. For once in his miserable tenure it seems Woodward is looking at the bigger picture.

Conte got Atalanta relegated before getting the Juventus job

Besides Ole is only going to be here six months. He justs needs to see us through while the club restructures. He'll hand over the reigns to the next guy better than he found them.

Thumbs up

Great news Old Trafford will be bouncing in Boxing Day and I can't wait after 18 months iof soul destroying misery at the hands of the Chelsea @#%&!

Ole may be bringing Phelan with him but Fergie will be having a lot more input for the next 6 months

it's times like this you see how limited mentally some people are. I don't even mean that as an insult. it's insane how people get these stupid expectations.

£#%&! me Nobody is expecting long term success under Ole, it's a temporary solution to give us time to get the right full time man hired in the summer. You're not grasping what this next 6 months are about are you?

People moaning a this?

The team should be able to win 95% of the games without a manager ffs!

The players will be lifted with Mourinho gone, fully expect us to win the league now

Except that isn't the thinking.

He hasn't been hired BECAUSE we've tried the alternatives. It's merely that the experience and pedigree of someone like Mourinho is not guarantee of success.

He's here to lift the mood. That's more or less it. He's not the grand idea or the big picture.

the club should have lined up our next manager and have him in place straight away.
sacking Mourinho can't have been an unexpected knee jerk decision...

what happens if the new manager takes a totally different approach to ole, then we waste another season . what happens with player recruitment in regards to January and next season?

we aren't some Sunday league outfit like billericay fc who can just hire a 'caretaker' for six months.....

plus its an inexperienced manager who hasn't never managed a club of this magnitude... its like if the scouser hired Gerrard or if arsenal put tony Adams in charge....
its sounds romantic but it just shows how £#%&!ed up things upstairs at the club.
Cardiff sacked the guy last year for not being good enough in both the premiership and the championship...yet somehow he is what Manchester United need.... seriously......
