It was contextual. And correct.

If we'd set up like that from the start, I wouldn't be happy.

You really think so? They've played four home games this season and not scored - a continuation of their issues last year which changing the manager doesn't appear to have solved yet. They are a tough side, do some things very well, but they don't score goals.

But no matter the opposition, resilient clean sheets away from home don't do any harm. Not pretty but that game at Anfield is huge and keeping a compact unit ahead of that will be a focus for Mou. Wouldn't surprise me to see a deep set up in Moscow.

Southampton put in a shift today that would have won any of their previous games. £#%&!ing no marks in their cup final.

Shoulder barge on Mkhi and shirt tugging on Lukaku. Seen both given in the past.

Speaks to how rank awful I think the overall standard of the league is this year. Top 6, then Watford, Southampton, West Brom, all the rest are very poor sides. Maybe Everton can recover as the season progresses.

Southampton are competent, but not really a goal threat and have a fairly weak CB pairing. That will probably be enough to finish 8-10th in the league. Lemina looked decent if erratic against Utd, will be interested to see he develops through the season, could be their next profit maker.

It's almost like the lad is bending the truth to suit an anti-mou agenda, but I don't believe that for a minute.

That isn't just applicable to England tho. You could pick any league and say they are shit outside of the top 6. A result of the stockpiling of players at the top few clubs in each league. 25 man squads when teams used a core of around 15 and a few kids
