I never really got the fuss because he looked like a stylish player with very little punch, but he seemed to go up a gear last season for Villa…. But we’re back to a lot of hype now. His best quality seems to be getting fouled and his England myth is growing with each starting eleven that doesn’t have him in it.

Getting fouled isn’t a quality. It’s a sign of lack of pace and/or the right mentality. Can you imagine Ronaldo being content with a free kick (unless it was within range)?

Incredible yet again from the genius Guardiola.

How does he do it? Constantly finding these unearthed gems and giving a whole one youth academy player some game time. He really has revolutionised football.

Apropos of nothing it will take his spending alone since he took over in 2016 to well north of 900 million quid in 5 years. Incredible how he's managed to win all those league cups on that kind of budget.
