He could, and probably should, have won that award 4 or 5 times.

Does Ronaldo still qualify?

They've probably been left off because it's unfair on the rest.

Anderson isn't on there becasue 90% of the people who aren't United fans don't rate him, at all, believe it or not.

Ronaldo, Fabregas and Torres are all on the young player list.

Ahh.

What's the chances of another Double?

Or are they going to ignore him as the best young player, despite being the best player and the best player in the World?

Gerrard's inclusion is a joke as it has been for the last few years.

Doesn't really matter who's nominated this year as I don't think there has been ever such a nailed on winner

Torres is 24. they should rename it the PFA not particularly young player of the year award.

How at least one of Rio and Nemanja haven't made that list is a £#%&!ing joke. Seriously a £#%&!ing joke. David James? WTF? Adebayor, yeah I'll go along with that. but has fabregas done anything outside of the first 2 months of the season? Gerrard's nomination is a dot on the cards every £#%&!ing year anyway - no matter how monumentally average he's been for 90% of the season.

Ronaldo player of the year, Torres is nailed on for Young player of the year anyway.

I wouldn't put Anderson and Nani for young player of the year. They haven't really been consistant enough.

Gerrard should get a nomination for young player of the year, just incase he doesn't win the main one, even though he gets picked for nothing.

He won't win them both again, the PFA will make sure of that.

Ah fair enough, on the Sky Sports site at first they just had those 3 mid-table wonders. Another double for Ronnie then, can't complain about that

He can't win PFA Player and not win Young Player if nominated for both, really.

As he IS the best player in the World and qualifies for both categories, he must win both.

If we had had 2 players in the list, it may have split the United vote. At least with Gerrard being in the list it means Torres wont win.
