Maybe he should try drinking €200 shots in the dressing room, pre-game, and watch a bit of Stavros to get him fired up?

Nothing

Well other than saving rashers from getting a yellow

VAR had made the decision and he was telling Marcus that.

Of course if he had screamed and chased the ref down picking up a yellow for himself that would have been wrong too...

He's been beyond pish this season and should be dropped immediately. I don't even want to see his face in a Utd shirt for a minimum of 3 months after Sunday's display, the worst Utd display I've witnessed since Massimo Taibi's debut against Chelsea.
His debut was Liverpool away.

State of this @#%&!. You've got to put pressure on the ref there. He probably wouldn't change the yellow to a red but we may have got decisions after it.

Probably trying to impress his England boss that £#%&!ing #@&%! Southgate.

Exactly, in these days of VAR a call to the ref to review maybe even benefits you....

It's basically his job, imagine hearing that voice backing the ref....

Bruno would have felled the @#%&!.

Seriously, part of a captain's job is to make the ref second guess himself. Even up the score. Not that it would have mattered but still, Maguire not someone you want to go over the top with.

"Come on lads, let's go!"

"What's he saying?"
"No idea. Why's he whispering again?"

Even Valencia who couldn't speak a word of English was better than slab.

He should take control of the situation tell all the players to shut up and go and talk to the ref firmly and with authority - asking why it's only one red and is he going to have another look at it - if not why not.

Not difficult the basics of being a captain.

Everyone is watching a short clip of a longer event.

He did go to the ref etc... The ref told him it had been reviewed and that VAR had said it wasn't violent conduct. He reports it back to Rashford to get the team to focus on defending the corner again rather than losing their heads over an injustice.

There's a £#%&! tonne of things he did wrong in the match, picking on this one is ridiculous.

Bingo.

Doesn’t fit the narrative of blaming everything on a player people had already made their opinions on before he even kicked a ball for the club.

Is he a block headed fanny? Probably
Was he absolutely shit on Sunday and had a hand in all 6 goals? Yep
Did he do anything wrong in this clip? Nope

£#%&! off, it’s not rugby. He should be letting the ref know he’s made a mistake, and putting as much pressure on him as possible to try and get him to even it up with a future decision, as well as using the ‘injustice’ to fire the lads up.

Instead he’s there telling Rashford to respect the referee’s decision ffs, sickening from a Manchester United captain. Thought the Greece incident might be the making of him but clearly not

Surely you don't think a block headed fanny should be wearing the captain's armband of MUFC? The burden is just too great for him, especially when we all know he's not the most vocal of players, so instead should be leading by example.
