They’re going down because they can’t score goals, their midfield has no guts to it and they defend shambolically, not because of one var decision in a game they were losing no matter what. The decision they got vs Sheff Utd actually changed the result in their favour, this did not. I wonder how many texts he got after that?

It’s becoming very very boring. The words of desperate men (yes, you too Mou Mou) who know they’re getting tinned and are gagging to blame Michael Oliver for it.
It's embarrassing mate.

Of all the things to focus on, they pick the things they can't control, where there's several factors they can.

Dublin: "that decision could cost them millions"

No, Dion. That will the fact they got relegated over a 38 game season.

A penalty award doesn't gift anyone a game, nor does it excuse what happens after. Yes, goals change games and all that, but you cant just hide behind that. They're talking as if Villa were battering us and their victory was inevitable until that point.

More 'disgraceful' than Moss's decision was Mings getting caught on the ball and then failing to close on Greenwood, who only had a chance because of his initial £#%&! up. Right on half time. That's why you're going down.

Same with Jose.

He talks about decisions because he needs them. Because the side that he oversees managed ZERO shots on targets against one the weakest defences in the league.

We had some bad calls too. Rashford and Pogba both could have had penalties. Didn't matter though. We made it not matter.

It's so crass. It's loser talk.

You go into every game knowing that you could get screwed on a decision, so don't focus on stuff you can't control.

It doesn't happen as much in other sports.

If there's a bad call in a 5 set Wimbledon final, you can guarantee the players wont talk about it. They don't mention luck. They don't stand there next to sue Barker with a mic banging on about Hawk eye. They talk about their performance, acknowledge their opponent and conduct themselves with a bit of stoicism and class.

Whinge whinge bloody whinge.

I think this side has good rotational options in midfield now, as Matic, Fred and The Scottish Player can play the deeper role, with Pogba pushed up as the 10. Fred looked good last night controlling the midfield, albeit against shite opposition.

Will be interested to see how Ole can tinker his squad, as obviously he can't keep playing the same XI every game forever. Southampton at home on Monday might be a good opportunity to rotate, given we've got a couple of tough fixtures straight after, with Palace away in the League, and then the FA Cup semi against Chelsea.

Hard to see where rest comes.

Ole clearly doesn't want to break up this winning side.

It’s going to be a really tricky call. He’s obviously got the 11 he trusts now and we’re so close. We’re also not nicking games either yet, so it’s a hard call. I think he’d rather roll the dice on bringing them off at ht or 60 mins than have to bring them on to chase a game.

And he shouldnt. William's and The Scottish Player in maybe, Bailly at a push, but that front 5 should start every game from now until 4th is secure. Take lads off when the games are won like last night if necessary.
