Don’t get that shout either. City and PSG have also both played the CL final. Bit potayto potâto they didn’t win their actual matches.

Couple of strays for the Big Jimmers too..
It's absolute bullshit. Saw this being banded about yesterday, apparently when asked about the last match he attended he couldn't remember.

He’s getting financing for the bid but it’s secured against his company Ineos
It’s not something the club will be paying back

If either of the bidders are successful then the club will be debt free as the current debt will be factored into the purchasing price

Also not sure where this idea comes from that you have to be backed by an oil state to be successful
Name me one club backed by a state that has won the CL
Neither do I pal, especially since people kept asking why people are happy for investment banks to be involved even after it was clarified that it was 100% ineos.

The support has taken a strange turn recently to actively being wanted to be state owned. Bit weird. Although still preferable to Elliot.

Interesting thread on him here. Apparently he fell in love with the club when Leeds won the league in 92, and was some sort of genius football profit at age 10. In other words, it's clearly bullshit for willful idiots. As for the rest of the thread... It doesn't sound dodgy at all... No sireee...

He’s was probably hammered. Ask Ste if he remembers his last match.

That’s why we’ll never be in debt again.

Once they declare their bid/interest before the “soft deadline” they can then have access to the clubs finances and refine their offer accordingly

This.

If there were other bids in from prospective owners who would clear the debt and invest to the level needed then fair enough. Big Jim can probably close the deal but the ground redevelopment would require additional financing from other parties l'd imagine .Qatar are the only serious contenders.

Arguments over whether the Sheikh or Big Jim come out as the biggest top red are hilarious given what we've endured under the Glazers.

You’ve got to give the anti Middle East crew something to hang their hats on. At least they know how old big Jim is.

Bit harsh. Top reds like Jassim have been priced out of modern football. He probably went regularly in the early 90s before all the JCLs started showing up. It’s not like there are many trains back to Doha in time for work the next day either. Would you rather he had sacked off his 9-5 and never made his fortune thereby not being able to buy us now?! Thought not.

Seemingly the gimps won't budge on their £6bn price tag. Can't see Little Jim paying that.

Glad they clarified that.

And you go around calling people thick and idiots because you believe in “lifelong Jim”.

Honestly have no idea what your point is in this response pal.

And I called you thick because you rambled on about hypocrisy, and going on about Rooney being banned for swearing in the same sentence as human rights abuses in a post that as a whole made little to no sense.

Yes really, unless you're suggesting I'm an idiot for pointing out that the bid was 100% ineos? Which seems like such an idiotic off topic thing to call someone an idiot for, I'm assuming it's not that.

Or did you have something more to add about the bid and my post?
