Concentrating on the league surely?

It does show how weak their squad is really, anything like the injury issues Utd have endured and they would be nowhere near the top. Well I say that but given the state of the rest maybe they would be.

Of course they are, just think it's a bad move. They've only got Villa at the weekend ffs.

Big European game in a stadium like that would be invaluable for a lot of their young players imo, in terms of next seasons CL campaign

Agreed, but they must be thinking that they might not get a better chance to win the league. You have to expect City, Chelsea and Utd to be much better next season, Spurs can not compete with their resources and in this they can think short-term.
