Default So, Park and Fletcher

have assured themselves of a place in the starting line up for a few of the remaining games.

is everyone ok with that?

i have nothing against keeping park as a squad player.

but, i feel an icy tingle down my spine every time i read the name 'fletcher' on the starting lineup. especially in cm.

That's Carrick and Ronaldo finished then? Oh well they had a good run.

Where else do you want him to play? He's £#%&!ing gash on the right.

Default Putting the FA Cup aside

Park is obviously a quality player and expect to see him against Fulham.

Expect to see Fletcher next at home to Lilles.

park is a good squad player for me, and fletcher has the ability to be a good player, he's had very good games for us in the past, just not often enough.

he's better in the middle than out wide tho imo

Park is a great player to have in the squad. Certainly a better option than Richardson at least.

Credit to Charlton today I reckon.

Could have got the draw and deserved it more than most ever do.

Did us a favour as well reminding us about focus.

we would have drawn todays game last season

we can't play the same 11 every week, and I reckon both are capable of doing a job against most prem clubs

your point was proved today. but i worry everytime i see them in the staring lineup.

there are no easy games! the relegation threatened sides are no longer walkovers at this time of year

I would worry about Fletcher in the biggest games (even though he's done well at times in a few of them so it's a bit harsh, maybe.)

But Park I'd have no worries at all if he had to be used in proper crunchers. Total faith in him and with the fitness nearly there now he is gonna be well involved in the run in if we stay in either of the cups.

Fletcher did well in the centre today, it's definitely his most effective position. Seemed to get forward a bit more than usual too, which is good to see.

Fletcher shows glimpses of quality but unfortunately is never really able to sustain that quality for the full match.

Park is ok against weaker teams but he tends to follow the ball and is often out of position - play park in the champions league at your peril i would say.

Whats a bit of a shame for football is that we talk of park as a squad player when if he was playing for Charlton he'd probably be their star player. A bit sad imo that the gulf between United and most of the teams we play each week is that much.

They can both play........................for around 60 minutes. In no way would I leave either of them on for the full game.

Fletcher looked ok today because the Merlin (scholes) was looking after him.

Bring on Dong, Richardson and O`shea!
