I had a look through our squad in the 1986-87 season and I don't see anyone who would have played under Busby in the early 70s

Based on that segment Windy has posted, I’ve misunderstood. Someone could be around from the Busby era and overlap with another player who would go on to play for Ferguson.

So, the 1986 squad just needs someone who played with someone who played under Busby.

I think.

There is no small print, that’s your problem. As I said, badly worded.

If a manager is going as far as naming you on the £#%&!ing bench, then it’s generally accepted you’re playing for them ffs.

You should have said made a first team appearance for. All good though.

Arthur Albiston made his debut in 1974 and was there in '86
