Indeed it was.

No he's saying he'll accept any old shite from them but expects better from Mkhitaryan.

No, he's saying he's not making as much of an impression as a bunch of players who aren't producing. Atm, Mata is the only one really stepping up and even he has his shortcomings. With a reshuffle, miki could come in for any one of zlatan, Martial, Lingard, Rooney, Mata or Rashford. If they were all tearing it up, I'd understand it.

If just irritates me that certain players are constantly under pressure with the axe hanging over them (Mata, mikhi, Martial) all entertaining match winners), while others can @#%&! it up each week with little to no consequence (Fellaini, Rooney)

It's also quite irritating when Miki gets lumped in with the entertaining match winners, when he's done nothing of the sort for us yet, and has looked every bit as bad as Rooney & Fellaini so far

Rooney has been dropped for weeks btw

Mkhitaryan just hasn't played enough football to really make a call. He certainly hasn't done anything with us to hold down a place, but then it's not that unfair to suggest that the derby game when he wasn't fully fit, out of position and in a pretty rotten team performance on the whole isn't the best opportunity to judge a newcomer to the side.

He made no difference last night, but again he was on a hiding to nothing.

What's annoying is we have had a couple of less-pressure situations he could have got game time and hasn't, but then he's thrown in and ordered to impress right when it's most difficult to.

Joke of a situation, poorly handled.

Didn't see the game but sounds like the usual lethargic display.

We desperately need some pace up front and a change in formation

I would love to see a forward 2 of Martial and Rashford with Pogba sat in behind
A midfield 3 of Carrick holding and Herrera and Mata/Fosu Mensah playing ahead of him

Also doesnt help when fullbacks are £#%&!ing shit. They are supposed to bring the width and free up the wingers a bit
We won't be making top four.

I was all for 4-4-3 but I think we could do with two up top and two wide players, Give Mikki a go on the right, Pogba, Herrera/Carrick, Young/Depay
Two of Rashford, Ibra and Martial

Back to basics.

The finishing will click. Sadly the january transfer window will be shit. Nobody good ever moves unless you get lucky with a gem like vidic or evra.

Can see woodward spending 35 million on some 2 bit @#%&! who is having a good season and nothing more once he arrives at unied he will be "moysed" ofcourse just like everybody else

Take it game by game. Beat swansea..go on the break...come back with a clean mental state and move forward. God help us during the 10day break if utd dont take 3 points against swansea

there is no one size fits all definition of a class footballer.

blind understands time and space, understands the movement and centre of balance of the players around him, can control a ball from any angle at any speed and away from a challenge, can shield the ball, can pass the ball long, short, quick, slow, can put it on a sixpence over any distance, can split a defence, can finish like a striker... people love to highlight what freeze frames of him apparently not holding a defensive line, but the fact is that pace and power are his weaknesses so he cheats the line and relies on reading the game; he has not had the luxury of playing with an actual centre back who can organise or lead a defence... he can run attackers off the ball, he's brilliant at interceptions, he can tackle to a degree, especially nicking the ball, and for all that he's a powder puff he does also stick his body on the line when he has to...

so basically he's a top footballer and he has fantastic technique. he's never been a centre back that would fit into a mourinho team though.

his passing is fantastic you £#%&!ing lunatic.

his execution (and form) in this current shambles has been below his level but still above most of the rest of them

What sort of gimp would watch this when the game is on?

Even without those last five words the question is still pertinent.

late for training again. no wonder he doesn't know how to hold the line.

we all love blind. we know what he's good at. he's very pretty too. and he's not a centre back. or a left back. in fact, he's a bit slow and small for a midfielder as well, but still.... he is filling in where we need someone to fill in and to criticise him for failings is a bit like criticising valencia for his positional sense at right back.

he's a poor man's carrick, but that is so much better than fellaini.

the real question is why mourinho won't play carrick.
