how anyone can say United is a failing business is beyond me, it’s a perfect investment opportunity for anyone with that type of cash.

That's short term though. Can't see us matching current sponsorship deals while the performance on the pitch remains as is.

We're only worth that to someone who needs to raise their profile (ie the Saudi's).

We have assets of around £500m, debts that are around the same and profits <£50m.

In most markets that would see us valued at significantly less than £1b.
A proper valuation takes a bit more into account than just that tbf.

We brought in over half a billion in revenue last year, and there’s scope for that to increase significantly.

There is, but the investment required is a £#%&! of a lot you'd have to say...

Although our owners are a problem and are one of the worst things that's ever happened, we could have success with the Glazer's still here if we appointed the right manager + all the other staff to go with it, scouts, directors etc whatever.

As an example which nobody could argue with, if Klopp or Pep was our current manager, we would be successful in spite of the Glazers. We'd be on 90+ points and nobody would be talking about the owners or takeovers. Because Klopp and Pep both know what they're doing, bring in the right people around them, and get the best out of their players.

When Klopp leaves Liverpool, they will fall back into mediocrity and go back to blaming the owners. A world-class manager can paper over any cracks.

Would you choose:

Glazers + Klopp, or
Saudi's + Ole

I know which set up would bring in more trophies

Thanks

The cost of generating the revenue (players) is too high and we're competing against people with unlimited resources so it's never going to get better.

There's no way anyone would buy United for financial reasons. We're a mature company from a revenue point of view, there aren't many new opportunities to pursue.

It wont. Collective bargaining is the reason they're so high in the first place.

There's a reason Spain are changing.

The investment required makes it all a rather pointless endeavour for any prospective buyer, that’s the point.
