But as I said on the thread discussing tonight's match - given the outrageous luck they have had, if they *don't* win it now........then when?

They won't get 90 points next season.

They're either going to win the league or be the unluckiest team to not win the league.

For those who would need to drink there way through a Liverpool title win there is pretty much unlimited amounts to either back them or lay City.

City 3-1 ON

Liverpool 7-2

City won’t get 98 either. Is everyone happy for city to make it three in a row next season? Four the season after?

Yeah, if it means Liverpool don't win it.

Who gives a shit about City?

I give a shit about any teams who threaten our position as the ultimate winners.

The only thing we're winning this season is the 'shittest team in the top 6' competition.

And we've romped it.

They might you know. They’ve beaten it before.

Not saying that they aren’t capable, just think they’ll be prioritising Europe next season and may change the way the play in the league at times in order to do so. We’re getting ahead of ourselves, Leicester will get something on Monday.

Funny team, Leicester. Never know. Just hope the Berts have too much for them and Wolves get something on the last day. Wouldn’t they be motivated by a EL spot?

Anything less than a Leicester win on Monday and Wolves are guaranteed 7th. If anyone thinks Liverpool will fail to win at home if the title depends on it then they are in denial, refs, angels, own goals and keepers on the take will find a way to gift them the win.

People are putting far too much stock into whether or not teams are motivated against City and Liverpool.

Like ex-managers of Liverpool makes any difference at all.

Some #@&%! fans wrote a poem to Rafa asking him to back off ... like Newcastle are some premier league force that Liverpool desperately need to be off form to have any chance of winning.

Spurs, us and Burnley were all motivated against City. It didn't matter.

Newcastle and Brighton gave it a good go against Liverpool . It didn't matter.

City and Liverpool are 20 points ahead of the rest of this league. They are simply better. Much better. The outcome of these games is entirely up to to them.

Yeah, kinda like that.

Last line a bit contradictory.

Agree in the main but the dippers definitely have a history of dropping points at home to motivated teams. Not so much this season but.... Wolves

I'm not saying Brendan is the worry because of any theories about motivation and doing old clubs favours, I agree with you on that. He's the worry because he's one of the best managers in the league and Leicester are looking strong to the point where they will give City a proper game.

Thanks

Thought his point was that people think Brendan being the manager will make a difference when in actuality if City turn up and play as they can do then it should be a formality; Tim's post was just backing his point up further.
