This x number of years + 1 year, and the decision to only really ramp up negotiations when a player is entering the last 18months (or final year). Penny pinching but like Arsenal/Ramsey it's set to bite United on the arse.

However, I suspect Herrera has been made a very good offer - for a player who has turned, or will be turning soon, 30. I don't care who they are, and what they say to the press, they're all greedy £#%&!ers and he's taken the better deal. Can't blame him but I'll take exception if he comes out with they (PSG) made an offer first, United didn't do enough etc. All of it's %@#$&!s. Moving forwards should he be first choice in a 2 or 3 man midfield? He's a squad player at best so £200k a week?

It now comes back to who will he be replaced with? If it's someone already at the club getting more mins then United will miss his empty bag of crisps in the wind style, if it's a new face then probably not.

Just to ask, would he be first choice at PSG?
This just makes me hate Sanchez. That useless #@&%! has been a negative impact.

Been offered a £200,000 per week, five year deal apparently worth £52m, making him of the richest players in the world.

Can't blame him for wanting to leave tbf.

Yep cos there is no way he could survive on £150k a week

Dont know how these players cope with life.

The wages arent the thing here. He's gonna get a huge sign on fee. Probably 20/30 mill that PSG otherwise would have partly spent on his transfer fee anyways.

That decision becomes easy when you look at what a mess our club is, no cl football next season either. Not much making him stay, especially after how woodward messed him around and waited till the last minute to give him a new deal just to save a few bob. Disrespectful. People want to feel valued and wanted.

100% needs £#%&!ing off.

Our wage bill needs some order restoring and the squad needs a cull of the underwhelming Shite we've bought since 2013.

He's not the worst of the bunch, but let's have of right - he's been bang average since he arrived and a little Indian summer on Ole's arrival doesn't change that or allow him to start demanding 200k a week.

Yep he's had about a dozen good performances since we signed him. He's a decent squad option but not someone you want starting game in game out.

That's a shit signing for PSG.

He is a decent player and I'd rather he stayed, but we won't miss him at all.

Can't wait for all the £#%&!ing pie-in-the-sky speculation about who we'll sign to replace him before McMonginay lines up for us on August 8th.
