Anyone know much about brain haemorrhages? What are the recovery rates like? Is he likely to be 100% again?

The club statement sounds fairly positive but brain haemorrhage hits you like a brick to the face.

Been donating a load of books to charity today.

Realised I’ve about 5 SAF books. Didn’t give a single one away.

He must live.

I know quite a bit.

It'll depend on the size of the bleed. It could be very small and he could be back to his usual self. The blood kills brain cells so the bigger the bleed, the bigger the problem. It's unlikely to kill him if he's got through the operation, the problem will be how many brain cells the blood has killed.

If the rumour is true that he started to feel unwell on Thursday then it implies it is quite a small bleed.

He was such a figure for such period of time in our lives. But like many have said he’s a tough cookie who has always been up for a fight

Thinking of him and his family, come on SAF

That's my feelings.

At least the surgery is done and he got through that well.

Cheers pal.

That’s quite reassuring.

Depends really, my Grandma had a stroke and had a pretty bad bleed on the brain.

Had to stay in hospital for months, was moved into a home and died a few months later.

She was never the same after it, but that's one case.

£#%&!ing hell, come on Fergie.

That was my hope. That he didn't just £#%&! it off and got himself to the hospital quickly. It doesn't seem he's collapsed etc which in itself can £#%&! you up.

Seems to be the most positive news it could have been with that situation.

Getting through the surgery is huge too.
