True, just a thought I had though, they are a different team with him.

Looking at the previous record of messi regarding recovery times, I would say doubtful.

Messi was a very small kid and he was on growth hormones to make him big enough to be a footballer. Some people in the Spanish press reckon this has led to a number of muscle injuries as his muscles have had to stretch further than they were genetically meant to. It's all just press talk but his recovery times are quite slow and he does tend to pick up niggles.

It doesn't matter, two weeks will be back within a week.

Default If he does recover...

...we'd only have to knock him over and he'd be stretchered off crying like a girl again!

I know, we could get hard man Louis Saha to do it...I'm getting my coat as I type!

Wouldn't have thought so, not for the first leg anyway.

It could be to our advantage if he just gets back from injury in time as they will play him and remember how shit he was against the murderers just after coming back from injury.

Barca will knock us out. We're better than them but they won't shit themselves like United.

This is my fear. The other problem would be if they are out of the title race at the time and are able to rest players.

I'm sorry for basing my predictions on the foundation of what we've all seen from the past eight seasons.

It might be doom and gloom but it's genuinely my fear and opinion that United will freeze, again.

Fine but you don't have to go on about it so much. We all know we've wasted good opportunities without you giving it the full on Pvt Fraser.

I'd rather have them at full strength and beat them.

That would set us up on a high for the title run in and final nicely.
