Make your mind up pal, do you want to add depth on the cheap allowing us to spend more else where or not?!

If we play 3 there - yes.

Depends on the formation.

4-2-3-1?

I'd have him next to The Scottish Player and behind Grealish, Fernandes, Rashford and Sancho.

I'd take Grealish and bring Henderson back, but I wouldn't jettison Dave just yet. Fraser can £#%&! off though he's had a shocking attitude at Bournemouth ffs.

The good thing about the clean sheets we've had recently is that the defence will only get better the more they play together. Don't forget two of them (plus Williams) are new this season. Look at the scousers, they let in a lot last season but now they are all playing regularly for a 2nd full season they've barely conceded. Use that foundation for next year and improve the midfield and attacking options so we can break down the 10 man defence fodder at the bottom of the league and we might be on to something.

So youd have a 2 man midfield of The Scottish Player and Fred? We've seen this combo several times and it's not creative enough or defensive enough! You then want to put Rashdord back through the middle when clearly his best football has come from the left!

You want to sell Martial and Pogba, buy Grealish and Sancho and make the team worse?!

Sell Pogba sure, then we can buy a proper DM to finally replace Carrick, someone who protects the defence and moves the ball quickly to open up teams sitting back. The Scottish Player or Fred can fight for the spot alongside him. We need a quality right sided player, maybe Sancho is that player but I'm not totally convinced, and at 100m + that transfer has to be winner immediately. I'd look at Dani Olmo as a possible cheaper option. Rasford stays left, Fernandes plays 10, then it's a decision whether to sell Martial and buy a new CF or persevere with Martial.

Could have had him in Jan for buttons, will cost a fortune from RB Leipzig. Could try for a double deal for him and Werner

Didn't know he had moved tbh, thought he was still at Zagreb. Probably not an option now.

We did ok and got lucky against a very very average Chelsea team. Well done, but we need to reduce our reliance on everything going our way in order to win otherwise it’s not sustainable.

Everything going our way? It was one decision that could have gone against us and we were lucky it went for us.

Teams take chances, teams miss chances, decisions go for, decisions go against. A typical game of football.

The Zouma goal could easily have been allowed, and the rub of the green went our way for Giroud’s disallowed goal and showing them half the £#%&!ing goal for their free kick that hit the post. It was almost as though we were desperate to gift them a way back in; shoddy defending.

Whether it’s decisions that go your way or inches, you can’t rely on them being favourable as much as we did or we’ll come unstuck too often.

That’s of course without even mentioning that McGuire should have been off. One decision would probably have changed the whole outcome, and by extension, our season.

Caballero showed Bruno half the goal and he too hit the post from his free kick

The only contentious decision was the Maguire one, should deffo have gone. The only time Chelsea should've scored was Batshuayi first half, everything else was defended or a half chance at best. There are very, very few games in which the opposition has no chances at all, especially away from home.

That said, we desperately need to look after the ball better in midfield, we cause half our own problems
