I like Rio a lot more than in his playing days. I did like him then but I always felt he was keeping a bit in reserve. I suppose he was saving it for emergencies, but I always felt he should step up (in midfield) a bit more as he was so talented on the ball.

nah despite their exteriors they know their footballers.

you should see the drafts (French players that have played in the premiership / failed wonder kids) when they are naming players from the late 90s and what clubs they came from.random ones as well.

its not a serious show buts its good. hilarious at times.
they had riise on as well and he told quite a few interesting stories.

rio was asked rvp or ruud.

says rvp

I've had a good, good laugh so far. They aren't clueless by a long way. But no one is taking themselves too seriously.

its an hilarious episode as rio is just having a laugh. no pr stuff or gloss on anything. just talking with his mates.
calling players shit etc.

he even called ruud a 'bagsman'
you'll never hear that word anywhere

https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Bagsman

he explains the Kenyon 'accidental' meetings and gets ripped for it on 38:10

tells the story of sad throwing a newspaper at him at the training ground on the Monday.

Fair enough. I quite like Poet, been watching his stuff on numerous topics for years.

Can't stand that lad he's always with - white kid, Eastern European, Liverpool fan. Vujinic or something.

Not quite late 90s, but wasn't Anthony Le Tallec the greatest footballer ever.
