Mitten has got those dead eyes. The lights are on, but nobody's home...

Wouldn't trust him to boil a kettle.

Nope. He’s been bought off. I lost all patience with him after he let Jermaine Jenas chat absolute horseshit about the Glazers on MOTD after the Liverpool postponement. Practically every utterance he’s made since has either been keeping himself at arms length (“the fans aren’t happy”) or has been convenient for the club (see his latest insistence that every player we’ve gone for has been part of ETHs plan which “wowed” the club in the interview). It’s clearly %@#$&!s.

It’s absolutely ruined us.

But it’s okay, we had all those brilliant press conferences where he blamed everyone at the club but himself eh. Great memories.

Tbf, might’ve been worthwhile even if he just got a few transfer targets off him

Nah £#%&! that, get him out the club, out his role and over to Austria, uninterested in anything he has to say.....it's a disgrace what he did to our club ..

Don't think Gakpo comes if they make the European comp

That club wanted him out as soon as he called them out. They wanted him to get another job so they had an 'excuse' for ousting him.

Everything he said in January was spot on, and the club were embarrassed at being outed.

Not to mention we knew he hadn't coaches in years, and still got him in mid-season inheriting the mess left behind by Ole.

Hopefully he shows us what he can do against Rangers across the two legs.

Apparently this deal is off if we sign De Jong.

Sounds like this and Rabiot transfers were instead of de Jong

De Jong on the bench v Liverpool?..

Erm no. Straight in the team. The other players will be incredulous that an actual good footballer will be in the midfield though.

We’re desperate for attacking reinforcements, so unless de Jong is playing on the wing (should he sign) I can’t see how the 2 deals can be related.

Source? Because that makes no sense.

Even Rabiot instead of de Jong doesn't make sense.

Twitter pal.

They reckon it’s down to budget which kind of makes sense

De Jong- 70m

Rabiot and this fella- 70m

They’re saying Savic is the FDJ back up plan, but which obviously makes no sense too. So they’re either making shit up or Arnold+Murtough don’t know what they’re doing…

Both very likely tbf.

Thing is de Jong is wanted to play as a no.6. Rabiot isn't great at taking the ball off the defence and is more box-to-box. Milinkovic-Savic is box-to-box and the most attacking of the three.

I hope that's just Twitter balls, because two or three additions are badly needed.

More than likely is pal.

None of them know what is actually happening and are just guessing.

De Jong and Gakpo would do me…. Unsure or Rabiot although it sounds like he’d be an upgrade on Mcfred so…

Edit- it was Jason burt that apparently said we wouldn’t move for Gakpo if we get De Jong, unless the tweet I saw was %@#$&!s…
