here are currently two proposals to be considered - a traditional penalty shoot-out or where a player would have eight seconds to try and score after receiving the ball on the half-way line.

read that and try and not laugh

That is so f***ing ludicrous. It's like something the americans would come up with.

place 5 coconuts on the cross bar and see how many you can knock off with 5 balls from anywhere in the centre circle........in 8 seconds.......with your left leg.......blindfolded

I really hope you're right and you probably are, but honestly nothing would surprise me with the absolute f***tards who sadly are in charge.

They fixed that. You now get 3 pts for a win, and 1 for a draw.

Probably, maybe a slight exaggeration. I would expect the average player could do it 5 out of 10 without much trouble.

average players couldnt hit a cows arse with a banjo ffs....some of the shooting you see at games makes you wonder if the first 11 people through the turnstill werent just given a shirt and a pair of boots and ushered onto the pitch

That would make for the most boring games of football ever. Imagine it, teams coming to Old trafford defending even more than they do NOW. Playing for a 0-0 and then hoping to do us on pens.

Stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid f***ing idea.

I've always thought England's penalty takers were pretty average
